I can't remember why the hell this would ever come up in conversation, but then again kids will be kids...I must have been 7 when my brothers told me that masturbation causes you to pee out your poo hole and poo out your pee hole. WTF? I didn't listen to them... ;)
I just had to give the talk to my little brother but I only got in "the pull-out method is bullshit" before he cut me off.
First of all, this question was posted at 11:11, which is "lucky," if you know what I mean.
Second of all, my mom FINALLY gave me the talk when I was ten, after everyone else had a training bra and I had to ask her for one, and then act TOTALLY embarrassed that I was getting one. (It was Calvin Klein, by the way--so swank.)
All my friends' parents had shown them a video that was apparently passed around among the parents in my small town. So the girls in my class gave me a primer on our 5th-grade trip to this dorky Baptist summer camp.
By the time my Mom got around to it, I said "I already know Mom, GEEZ!" And then gave her--my Mom, the nurse--a clinical run-down.
She just looked at me and said: "I'll love you no matter what, Mary Virginia, but I'll love you a lot more if you don't get pregnant before you're married."
We were Catholic.
